Brighter Pathways Speech & Cognitive Services is Central Pennsylvania’s only outpatient speech-language pathology practice specializing in neurodegenerative conditions such as memory loss, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease. We are committed to helping adults maintain communication, cognition, and speech abilities so they can stay connected with the people and activities that give their lives meaning. Utilizing person-centered, evidence-based therapy, we equip individuals and their care partners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to preserve functional abilities and independence. Meet the Speech Pathologist

Hazley Yeager, M.S., SLP, CDP

Speech-Language Pathologist, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Dementia Friend Champion, SPEAK OUT!® Provider

Hazley Yeager, M.S., SLP, CDP brings over 10 years of experience and has developed a deep passion for working alongside individuals with memory and communication challenges. She provides person-centered, evidence-based care focusing on practical strategies to enhance communication, maintain independence, and support a meaningful, engaged quality of life through personalized Cognitive Rehabilitation.

Hazley completed her bachelor’s degree and earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, both from Misericordia University. She is licensed in the State of Pennsylvania and certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She also holds a seat on the Dementia Friendly Susquehanna Valley board. Hazley has practiced as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of adult settings including skilled nursing, outpatient therapy, and home health services. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), a certified provider for the SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Program for Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders, and a Dementia Champion in which she provides Dementia information sessions through Dementia Friends PA. Hazley lives in Danville, Pennsylvania with her husband, Tyler, two cats, Ivy Mae and Chance, and dog, Abby. In her free time, she enjoys reading a good book, visiting the local coffee shops, biking the Rails-to-Trails, traveling, and volunteering her time and expertise in various support groups and events.

She believes in helping adults retain communication to maintain their social lives and strengthen interactions with care partners, family, and friends. She is dedicated to evidence-based practice and person-centered care which ultimately sets her apart from other Speech-Language Pathologists, being she specializes in treating adults with neurological impairments affecting speech, language, and cognitive functions.
